1) Scope
This policy covers The Eye Place app, website, and services linked here.
2) Data We Collect
- Identity, name, email, profile photo.
- Meta data, Instagram account id, username, Page id, media ids, publish status.
- Content, captions and images you choose to post.
- Technical, IP address, device details, logs, crash data.
- Tokens, long lived user tokens from Meta.
3) Purpose
- Link your Instagram Business or Creator account.
- Prepare and publish posts you schedule.
- Show delivery status and basic insights.
- Secure the service and prevent abuse.
- Provide support and service messages.
- Comply with law and enforce Terms.
4) Sharing
We share personal data only with processors under contract, hosting, databases, analytics, error logging, and support tools. We share with authorities when law requires. We do not sell personal data.
5) Storage and Retention
- Tokens, encrypted at rest, rotate or revoke on disconnect.
- Account and posting records, for the life of the account.
- Logs and diagnostics, up to 24 months.
- Backups, rolling cycles.
6) Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, role based access, monitoring, and regular reviews. No method is perfect. We reduce risk and respond fast.
7) Your Rights
You hold rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, port data, and opt out of marketing where law grants these rights. Email front.desk@theeyeplaceng.com. We reply within 30 days.
8) Children
Service targets users 13 and older.
9) International Transfers
We use standard safeguards when data moves across borders.
10) Updates
We post updates here and adjust the effective date. For material changes, we send notices in app or by email.
You control removal of your data in three ways.
Delete Inside the App
- Open Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm.
We queue removal from active systems within 30 days. Backups expire on their cycle.
Delete by Email
Send a message to privacy@theeyeplace.com with subject, “Delete my account.” Include the email used on the app. We verify identity before removal.
Revoke Platform Access
Open Meta Business Integrations, find “The Eye Place Scheduler,” select Remove.
