In commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child and World Sight Day, The Eye Place, in collaboration with Give Girl a Chance Non-profit (@ggac_ng) and @safeeyesinc, embarked on an inspiring journey to Junior Secondary School Durumi. The mission? To educate and empower 20 young mentees on the importance of eye health and provide them with a comprehensive vision testing experience.
Through our innovative Social Impact Project, “Sight For Girl,” The Eye Place took a significant step towards ensuring that these bright young minds have access to proper eye care. The project involved conducting free vision tests for each student, with the ultimate goal of providing prescription eyeglasses to those in need. This initiative not only promotes eye health but also seeks to bridge the gap in access to quality eye care, particularly among young girls.
The Eye Place remains committed to raising awareness about the significance of eye health and vision care. By leveraging their expertise in optometry and optical services, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of young girls, empowering them to reach their full potential.
By working together, we can create a brighter, healthier future for generations to come. Join The Eye Place and their partners in promoting eye health awareness and making a difference in the lives of young girls worldwide.
